The Champagne Man is John Graham, from the County Durham Dales in Northumbria in North East England. John has travelled extensively and it was during his travels that John made a Champagne discovery that he is passionate about sharing with you.

On a trip to France John first met the Voirin Jumel family who have been making wine for four generations. Their Champagne, he discovered, was superb. It a true gem, exquisite in quality, and sensational in taste.

On a return trip to France John’s thoughts travelled to the day he first enjoyed that fine champagne and he was determined to find the same chateau that produced this wonderful Champagne and meet its makers.

The chateau itself was stunning with panoramic views over looking Crammant, nestled amongst the rich vines and rolling countryside.

John was soon to meet once more the amazing Voirin Jumel family, the chateau proprietors. The commitment the family has to producing such deliciously different Champagne was palpable.

This close knit family chateau is dedicated to tradition, excellence, elegance, style and refinement.

John says, ‘When I was back in England I really wanted to taste that deliciously different champagne again, but no-one was able to supply it as it comes from such a small and specialist grower. So I decided to contact the vineyard and ask if I could become their UK representative.’
