We provide a special service for the transportation of our champagne and wines.
The delivery is sent as a Winetrak consignment and is handled separately to ensure that it arrives in pristine condition.
Deliveries are made between 9am and 5.30pm, optional choice of time of delivery also available.
Terms and Conditions
Shipping and delivery
Standard delivery is next day throughout England, Wales and Scotland. (** check not just southern Scotland)
If goods are delivered to an incorrect address as a result of incorrect information provided by the customer we will not take responsibility and the customer will pay for the cost of replacement goods and the cost of delivering the replacement goods to the correct address.
Breakages
The customer will be responsible for checking their goods upon receipt of delivery. Clearly a broken bottle(s) would present as a damaged or wet package which would be evident on receipt.
Quality & Returns
We have great confidence in the champagne we sell and do not expect any quality issues with it, however if you experience any quality issues with the champagne after the initial 30 day period please contact us and we will at our discretion endeavour to rectify them. Other than this, we place a great deal of trust in the integrity of our customers - all we ask is that common sense should prevail in deciding whether what is in the bottle is truly faulty (as a result of the winemaking process) or simply the result of poor storage conditions by the customer.
If you have any questions or comments regarding our guarantee policy, or wish to report a faulty wine, please contact us by letter or e-mail, and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
Delivery Schedule
Delivery of goods is made by courier. We endeavour to dispatch your wines the same working day as receiving your order. When payment is made by credit or debit card, in most cases your wine will arrive the next day (see Shipping and Delivery section for further details). Deliveries by carrier are not made on Saturdays, Sundays, or Bank Holidays. Should there be a delay in normal delivery schedule, this will be advised on our website. If this applies, your order may still be placed, and will be processed for delivery when normal delivery scheduling returns.
Returns Policy
Goods should be returned in the same condition in which they were supplied, and with bottles unopened, at the customer‘s expense. The retail price of Champagne will then be refunded in accordance with the code. This does not apply to export orders outside with European Union!
Liability Limitation
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where:
Loss or damage was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;
Loss or damage was not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier;
Loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers.
We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine. In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages.
